The new SEAT Ibiza ECOMOTIVE reach the market in early 2009 with an excellent letter of introduction: just 98 g / km of CO2 emissions to the atmosphere and with a reduced consumption of 3.7 liters per 100 km. Figures that make the new SEAT model in the most environmentally friendly vehicle in its class and the only one that offers a 80 hp engine with a 5-door car with air conditioning and with a figure as low emissions.

The detailed work done at the Technical Center of Martorell on the new SEAT Ibiza 1.4 TDI 80 hp DPF particulate filter has resulted in a car very respectful of the environment. Thus, the optimization of the aerodynamics of the vehicle, limitation of weight and changes in engine management have enabled not only the Ibiza ECOMOTIVE reduce consumption and emissions but also achieve better performance compared with the base model from which drift.

As new equipment, the new Ibiza ECOMOTIVE presents a unique upholstery on the seats, the handles of the doors and mirrors in body color, and dual-parabola headlights, which are added to complete the offering in the series which include elements such as ABS, ESP, TCS + EBA, assistant aid pending, witness the loss of tire pressure, driver airbag + passenger airbag, head-thorax airbag, MP3 audio equipment + Aux-in + 6 Speakers and anchorages in rear seat Isofix anchoring + Top Tether preparation.

As for options, the new model can incorporate the Spanish brand, among others, head airbags + side airbags, rear parking sensors, cruise control, air conditioning, fog function with static turning light, Preinstalling browser and Bluetooth + USB port, not being available the following elements: panoramic roof, spare wheel, alloy wheels, sports suspension and front armrest for reasons of maximum weight.

The new Ibiza ECOMOTIVE will be available in the SEAT sales network in early 2009 to benefit the buyer of the tax savings.
